1. The seller

CIREMONDE SAS, share capital €60,000, RCS Paris 421 087 336, VAT FR 47 421087336, registered at 14 Rue Cartier-Bresson, 93500 Pantin, France.

2. Products

Candles and home fragrance are made by hand. Small differences in wax surface, colour and label placement are characteristic of the process and are not defects. Burn times stated are measured under laboratory conditions with a trimmed wick and no draught.

3. Prices and orders

Prices are in euros and include French VAT. An order is confirmed when we send a dispatch email. If an item is unavailable after an order is placed, we refund it in full within 14 days.

4. Shipping

• France: €6, free above €90. Two to four working days.
• European Union: €14, free above €150. Three to seven working days.
• Outside the EU: quoted at checkout. Duties and import taxes are the customer's responsibility.
• Orders are packed at the workshop on weekdays. Nothing ships during the four-week cure of a new batch.

5. Right of withdrawal

Under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code you may withdraw within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. Products must be returned unused and in their packaging; return postage is at your expense unless the item was faulty. We refund within 14 days of receiving the return. The right of withdrawal does not apply to refilled vessels, which are made to order for a specific customer.

6. Refills

A vessel accepted for refill remains your property. We may decline a vessel that is cracked, chipped at the rim or no longer structurally sound, and we will tell you why. Refilled candles carry the same guarantees as new ones.

7. Legal guarantees

All products carry the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-4 and following of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code). Nothing on this page limits those rights.

8. Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from draughts and flammable materials, and out of reach of children and animals. Stop burning at 10mm of remaining wax.

9. Intellectual property

Photographs, text, scent names and the CIREMONDE name are the property of CIREMONDE SAS and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform or refer the matter to a consumer mediator before bringing proceedings.
