CIREMONDE has poured candles in Paris since 1998, first in a room behind a hardware shop on Rue Oberkampf and, since 2007, in a workshop in Pantin. Eight scents, poured twice, cured four weeks, and a refill counter that has been open since long before it was fashionable.

Cut hay in the hour after it is turned, when the field smells of green sap and warm dust at the same time. Built on coumarin and clary sage, with just enough tonka to keep it from going sweet.
